Frozen Treats You Can Eat: Berry Popsicle Recipe!

It is hot and humid out there! Stay cool and beat that heat with our favorite summer treat. You can't go wrong with popsicles packed with fruit and even some protein.

Ah, summer. A time to sit back, enjoy life, and watch all the children run wild without a school to hold them. Both children and adults can enjoy these fast frozen snacks. This recipe makes 6!

2 Cups Vanilla Greek Yogurt (you can make a dairy free substitute!)

2 Tablespoons of Honey or Agave

2 Cups Fruit of your choice (We're going with our favorite- Blueberries!)

Step 1.

Take your berries or fruit of choice, and place them into a blender/ food processor. Blend your berries until they are a liquid consistency.

Step 2.

Take the berry liquid and pour it into a bowl. Then mix the berry liquid with the agave or honey until the two are completely combined.

Step 3.

Start to gently fold in the yogurt with the berry mixture.
*Tip: If you want a tie-dye look, don't fully mix your yogurt and berries together!*

Step 4.

Pour the yogurt and berry mixture into the popsicle molds. If you don't have popsicle molds, try a small plastic or paper cup with a popsicle stick!

Step 5.

Freeze for 4-6 hours, or overnight.

Step 6.

Release from molds. If you can't seem to release them, quickly run the molds under warm water.
