Doors of Charleston

Explore Charleston's charm from a local's point of view!

There is no shortage of color in downtown Charleston, and house doors are no exception!

Wandering around Charleston people can experience some extreme door envy. Tourists and locals alike actually stop in their tracks to snap photos of these beautiful doors. We’ve put together a bunch of our favorite Instagram snaps and all from Charleston locals, to give you a taste of our charming city! Local artist, Jenny Batt, also shares with us her “Little Pink Map” with some of the best and most popular doors!

And if you feel like exploring for yourself, local artist, Jenny Batt created the cutest “Little Pink Map”!

Jenny is a Charleston-based artist and illustrator. Inspired by bright and colorful coastal style with a dash of retro Palm Beach, she loves to illustrate things she loves and believes everyone should be able to afford original works of art. She sells original paintings and prints of her bubbly illustration style in Charleston, SC at Cannonborough Collective and in her online Etsy shop

In her own words....

"I fell in love with downtown Charleston and the Historic district the first time I saw it three years ago. I am constantly on the hunt for another gorgeous door that I see on all the lovely feeds in social media. When I found the best doors, and the most popular, I figured I would share so people don't have to hunt around trying to find them, especially if they are on vacation from out of town."
